Today I DEMANDED a paper ballot!!
We voted in our Democratic Primary here in Crawford County, AR
today and for the first time I saw one of those voting
machines! My husband was already voting on one by the time I
got out of the ladies' room!

I was directed into the voting room and saw the machine and
told them I wanted a paper ballot. I told them I was aware of
at LEAST ONE election that was stolen with one of those
machines and I refused to cast my vote on a machine!

Also while there a lady whom I had never met got to talking
and told me that she had voted for Bush BOTH TIMES and had
lived to regret her vote! She said she had never voted for
Clinton but now regrets that too and would vote for him in a
heart beat now! She said she now realizes that all that BS
going after Clinton was a "set up".

It's hard to sympathize with these folks who were fooled twice
by Bush; especially when all of us are paying for their poor
decision! :spank:

1. I know, when you hear them crying about regret...

... you don't know if to hug or slap them... Especially the ones who voted for Chimp both times... By 04 if you didn't see it, well, I don't know what to say... Sheesh...?

Good for you on demanding a paper...!

2. It is hard to sympathize with regretful Bush voters, yet
they may be the key to retaking the house/senate. They may be paying more attention than they were before, to corruption, the war, election theft, etc.
We should welcome them with open arms into our big tent, rather than rejecting them and driving them back to their good-fer-nuthin' ex.

3. Did you get a paper ballot? I voted early (last week) knowing that
Washington County was using the penciled-in optical scanner to count early votes.

4. Yes, I got a paper ballot
I would NOT have refused to vote if I couldn't have one but they didn't know that :o) I asked them how long it would be before we had to use the machine to vote and wouldn't have any paper ballots and she said it would be quite a while as far as she knows.

12. Yeah, we should tell them they're not even allowed to be Democrats.

They made their choice, now they should face their PUNISHMENT. :grr:

There must be consequences to fascism, and in this case it should be BANISHMENT. Or else they won't know what they did was wrong.

Can anyone give me a good reason why we should just turn around and let them vote for us? Didn't think so.

16. I did not mean to say she should not be allowed to vote Demo, rather...
we should recognize the fact she was among the voters who are responsible for the disaster known as the Bush Administration.

:) :)

6. My pat comment to those who voted both times for the WH Idiot is..........
....."Yea, just think there are people in this country so ignorant as to think lying under oath about sex was so much more serious than invading a country who had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Just think there are people who are truly that ignorant. The problem I have with ignorant people is they have put me through six long years of pure hell."

or if they get started on Clinton lying under oath I say.........

"I wish someone would put me under oath and start asking me about my sex life. I'd reinvent the term lying under oath and from that time on if they look up the word perjury my picture would be there.

Needless to say I shut them down but good.
