I need the address for AT&T and Verizon Corp Hdqtrs!
I'm going to mail the CEO of both of these shit-eating, capitalist-pig outfits and demand to know exactly what information of mine they're feeding to the fascist bush administration!!!

The CEO OF AT&T: Edward E. Whiteacre, Jr.

CEO and Chairman of Verizon: Ivan Seidenberg

I emailed Verizon, at least I could do it at THEIR website, I used the email page at "corporate reponsibility" (the shits!)

AT&T is COMPLETELY incommunicado on the net!

Some more I found:

"Exorbitant executive compensation is widespread in corporate America, but telecom executives as a group are the worst offenders

"Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg's total pay has grown 45% in the last five years while his company's stock lost about a third of its value. Last year, his total pay went up 48% while the stock fell 26%."

"When AT&T uses other companies as guides for its own executive compensation, it adjusts for firms of varying size but not varying performance levels. It's therefore possible for CEO Ed Whitacre to be paid more if those other companies execute well. AT&T says it is bound to a five-year contract that Whitacre signed with SBC Communications in 2001, when competition for experienced telecom executives mushroomed."

"Edward E Whitacre Jr
Total Compensation: $17.4 mil (#73) "

PIGS.... Actually, that's a slam at pigs who are rather intelligent, charming members of the animal kingdom. These bastards are pond scum... Actually, that's a slam at pond scum which at least nourishes a lot of other animals.

I guess people are the worst of the animal kingdom and the rest of the animals have no parallel to the worst examples of "people".

1. Go Local
I intend to walk in front of all three companies' local offices tomorrow armed with a sign that says "TAP THIS".

2. Naw, stuff like this, I like to go to the top
There was a company I did some work for last year who stiffed me for over $10,000. I contacted the CEO of their parent company and told him I was going to sue and screw up their little plan to go public. I was quickly contacted by the corporate lawyer and now they're paying me back most of the money.

Locally, you just get a clerk.

6. Ok, and what exactly do you expect....
What is it you expect to accomplish by "going local"? I work at a Verizon facility whose workforce is probably 70% Democrats. I know for a fact that the local big-dogs are Democrats. Do you think we had ANYTHING to do with this decision? Do you think you marching in front of my building would even be REPORTED to the President?

Let me answer for you: NO

Send letters to the CEO, the Board Members, people that actually MAKE the decisions that affect you.

Going local, at least in this instance, will make absolutely no difference.

Just sayin.
