Dear Mr. President,
Why do you hate us for our freedoms?
We live with a guaranteed set of freedoms, as citizens of the greatest country on Earth.
Why would you take the presidency when it was given to you by the Supreme Court, and not the voters? From the start you were against the citizens vote, as the popular vote went to Vice President Gore, not you. But, for the simple reason that there were more Republican judges on the court, like the vitriol Antonin Scalia, you were selected, and being the type of person you are, you grabbed the power and we've been victimized by your decisions ever since that day.
Why do you try and shove down your version of religion upon all of America? We have a separation of Church and State for a reason, and that is so religious nuts don't influence our everyday activities. I cherish and respect my belief in a higher power, and despite your claims that you share similar views I see no humility, love, or compassion coming from you or your top leaders in government. You acknowledge the faith with your lips, but deny it's core components by your actions and lifestyle.
Why do you hate that we have freedom to call whomever we want on our phones so much, that you would order without warrant, the records of millions and millions of phone records so they could be perused to see if we're calling anyone we shouldn't be, according to an unknown group of shielded individuals. There is a 4th Amendment to the Constitution that prohibits unlawful searches. This is exactly what you're breaking. Sorry, just because there are terrorists in the world doesn't mean that we lose our guaranteed protections as free American citizens. Weren't you just telling us a few weeks ago that it was only a few thousand individuals and that if weren't talking to terrorists we had nothing to worry about.
Even if we're 'against' certain issues doesn't mean we have the right to enforce our own religious or philosophical ideas upon others (within sane reason; i.e. murder, stealing), once again, that freedom "thingy". So, even though I'm personally against abortions, what are we going to do, outlaw them, then spend billions to watch every warehouse and empty office and put women at risk for surgical errors? It is their bodies, they have to make their own decisions, whatever those decisions may be, not you and the Southern Baptist Convention.
There also shouldn't be any screwing around with the Constitution by the worst Republican leaders in the Senate. Relationships are a private matter between the parties included, not a governmental institution. Therefore, you should not be in the favor of wanting to block rights of gays & lesbians (or anyone) in an Amendment. This smacks against personal freedoms and the guarantee of rights granted to all American citizens. A 'marriage' between two people and their Church, if their Church allows them, is great, if you're against their bond for some reason, go to another church. Who are you to question what they join before God? Let God be the judge of individuals, not your Amendment made up by very short-sighted Senators embroiled in scandals themselves, and cheered on by a minority of close minded individuals.
And on behalf of Helen Thomas, the journalist who covers the White House, why are we in Iraq still when they don't have WMD? The bodies of American soldiers are filling up the cemeteries at an alarming rate, and for what?
On behalf of the victims of Katrina that you ignored for nearly an entire week, when your own Father or Bill Clinton would have been there the next day - I say, you're unworthy to hold the office and will go down as a trouble-making dunce who goes against Americans on nearly every matter, whether it be Illegal Immigration, Port Security, siding with Big Oil, and giving massive tax cuts to the wealthiest of citizens.

Your own Vice-President's top employee along with your lead advisor, are wrapped up in the outing of a CIA undercover agent and the subsequent cover-up, and from Duke Cunningham and the scandals involving him and lobbyist Jack Abramoff, you have let way to many individuals retain their positions, which leads to great chaos and the pursuit of greed. A president is supposed to lead his cabinet, you let them run amok!
And don't even get me started on Donnie "the WMD's are North, South, East, & West" Rumsfeld, and Condi "I believe the title of briefing was 'Osama Bin Laden determined to attack within the US" Rice.
