Some Democrats claim Jimmy Carter is an anti-semite. Agree or disagree?

Just wondering what the concensus was out there for the majority of DU. I've seen alot of Jimmy Carter bashing to date, including calling him an anti-semite by several posters on a number of occasions. This seems preposterous to me, but I want to know what you think.

I cant answer to your poll because I do not know the man. He may be antisemitic, but I do not know of any evidence of that.

...Jimmy Carter has with the Democratic Party. For instance, if people did not trust him would we want him giving a speech at the national Democratic convention a few years from now? I say yes but others disagree.

I repeat my request to the O.P. to provide me links to any such comments, and can assure him they will be dealt with, if actually assertions President Carter is an Anti-Semite, as violations of the rules of this Forum, which such an accusation certainly would be.
