Kristen Breitweiser (9/11 family member) is KICKING ASS on Tweety's show
Giulliani and Biden were on tsk-tsking about no death penalty. A few other odd interviews ...... and then, at about 20 past the hour, she came on and debated Biden.

She is calm, serious, articulate, determined and angry. She called them out on every bullshit point they raised. And she called out the administration on continuing to hide information.

She was a voice of rational reason.

Watch the rerun. You won't be sorry.

14. I think she eventually will
You can tell she's still a crusader for the truth about 9/11 -- that's her focus -- but hopefully (maybe after this November), we'll get some subpoena power and thus truth and she'll be able to move on to other things, including running for office herself.

When push comes to shove, they finance him, and he will vote for their interests. He backed that disasterous bankruptcy bill that they wrote.

Biden had a tough time, didn't he?
He was adamantly for the DP, then he sort of "understood"
that the jury had made the right decision.

The only thing we were left with after his interview was that
he is definitely PJ (Pro Jury).

Huh?

Did Tweety agree with Biden et al and then flip flop when she spoke? Reason I ask is because he used to have the Jersey Girls on his show and fawn all over them. Having these two diverse opinions in the same segment must have short cicuited his wiring.

Edited on Wed May-03-06 06:03 PM by flyarm
and to understand Kristen ..she is from middletown nj..the town that lost many victims....mostly all professionals...

Gail Sheehy wrote a book about Middletown NJ....and all the people we lost that day...

Middletown, America
Written by Gail Sheehy

http://www.randomhouse.com/rhpg/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780375761010

ABOUT THIS BOOK

The single event that we know as 9/11 is over, but the shock waves continue to radiate outward, generated by orange alerts, terrorism lockdowns, and the shrinking of personal liberties we once took for granted. The stories in this book, of real people faced with extraordinary trauma and gradually transcending it, are the best antidote to our fears. Middletown, America is a book of hope.

All Americans were hit with some degree of trauma on September 11, 2001, but no place was hit harder than Middletown, New Jersey. Gail Sheehy spent the better part of two years walking the journey from grief toward renewal with fifty members of the community that lost more people in the World Trade Center than any other outside New York City. Her subjects are the women, men, and children who remained after the devastation and who are putting their lives back to-gether.

Sheehy tells the story of four widowed moms from New Jersey who started out scarcely knowing the difference between the House and the Senate, yet turned their sorrow and anger into action and became formidable witnesses to the failures of the country’s leadership to connect the dots before September 11. Sheehy follows the four moms as they fight White House attempts to thwart the independent commission investigating 9/11 and expose efforts at a cover-up.

What would become of the young wives carrying children their husbands would never see, wives who had watched their dreams literally go up in smoke in that amphitheater of death across the river? Amazingly, each finds her own door to the light. Here, too, is the story of the widow and widower who met in the waiting room of a mental-health agency and brought each other back from the brink of despair across a bridge of love. Sheehy also reveals how bereft mothers who will never have another son or daughter found reasons to recommit to life. And she follows in the footsteps of the robbed children, documenting the incredible resilience of four-year-olds, the anger of teenagers, the courage of sisters and brothers.

this is about my beloved hometown..MIDDLETOWN NJ....

HERE IS ANOTHER PIECE ON MIDDLETOWN...

38. nope i took early retirement!!
Edited on Wed May-03-06 06:36 PM by flyarm
i was flight attend of the year for my airline in 2001 for the NY base...i stood with the families at the wtc representing my airline...and after our aircraft went down in Rockaway..i said thats enough..time to retire my wings...shortly after that new year early retirement was offered and i took it..
i no longer trust my government

i was asked by my supervisor who lost her nephew in the wtc killed by her airline to go out and get the truth out there...i spent the next 4 years going out and public speaking and telling and begging americans to aks the right questions..and demand answers...

i have helped many do investigating quietly...

i moved to fla 1/2 yr ( winters.. nj summer)..and i ran for election and became a delegate for the dem convention aso i could get in peoples faces demanding truth....i have gone up against a 9/11 commissioner demanding answers...

i started an internet group to get info out to americans all over this country...

i have helped "people " get to the right people to get answers..

this i assure you..i will never ever stop until we get the truth..not if it take till my last living breath...

thoise were my co-workers..we are and were family...they were my airline family...

i retired after 33 yrs...as a proud crew member...

and i will never forget my co-workers..i call them my angels..and they will always be with me..

but i also lost people from my hometown that i grew up with...

i will never stop the fight for the truth...ever..........

61. I might guess that you have similar thoughts on flight 800 in 1996.
Several months ago I was listening to this guy (he was drunk) who told several of us that he was on duty that night on some ship off the east coast and that it was our military that accidentally shot down 800. He told us what his job was and what his security clearance was (meant nothing to me). He had enough details to be convincing. Maybe he got the story off the internet. Anyway, I suggested to him that he might want to be quiet and go home before he got in trouble.

A few nights later I ran into him and he asked me not to repeat what he had said and thanked me for shutting him up.

Now that I think about it - I have not seen him since. Maybe he left town.

41. Shumer: "I'd rather have had the death penalty"
On the first run of the show Breitweiser asked Biden, rhetorically (or not) that if Moussaoui deserved the death penalty for witholding evidence from the FBI, what about the tweo FBI agents who withheld info from the CIA about what they knew about issues far more imprtant than anything Moussaoui had?

Biden couldn't reverse his posture fast enough.

..... when he came out and before she came on ....... he said he'd rather have had the death penalty. When she called 'bullshit' he just caved and equivocated. She made him look like the bombastic wuss he is.

54. I saw the show...
And I saw him equivocating about "intent" but I didn't see him go back on his wish that Moussaoui had gotten the death penalty. (But I like how you described Breitweiser as "she called 'bullshit.'" I say that all the time-"I call bullshit on that!")

58. Oh no, you're right .......
he didn't exactly take it back .... he was just yammering and stammering ..... saying he was speaking as a person and not a lawyer or senator ... or some such crap. It was such a normal thing for him to do I really didn't pay too much attention.

62. Hahahaha
I thnk we're used to the second airing being a rerun. Having two live shows threw many of us off.

I know it did me.

But then, I'm always a little off, so that's mothing new.

47. Tweety and Peter King end with a strong finish
Tweety asks Rep Peter King (R-Scowlerviller) the 'live or die' question. King, of course says 'die'.

Then Tweety, right on cue, gives the ONLY possible RW spin to this ...... better that we didn't make him a martyr and have his face on posters all over the middle east.

Hey Tweety ..... y'enjoy suckin' that RW crank ..... ya shitbird.

51. She was terrific
And I could just FEEL her getting pissed at the patronizing tone Biden seemed to take when discussing the law. He obviously wasn't paying attention when she mentioned just before that that she was an atty.

63. My notes re: Kristin with Isakoff & Tweety talking about real 911 killers:
Edited on Wed May-03-06 09:53 PM by wordpix2

She and Isakoff are saying that other Islamists including bin Laden, Ramsey bin al-Shib, Kalid Sheik Mohammed and Khalad bin-Otosh (sp?) are more responsible for 911 than inept Massoui, who the masterminds did not want around. The real killers, including Ramsey who admitted on al Jazeera that he was directly involved in 9-11, are kept in secret prisons we know not where, and their documents are in gov. hands but the important files have either disappeared or BushCo will not release them. :wow:

Tweety's very interested in this story from Breitweiser---this is a VERY HOT story. This story is going to blow * out of the water--he is going down FAST after this. Now Tweety, media and others are asking, "How come the real killers have been in some secret prison for years without a Massoui-like trial ---why this big government show trial for Massoui instead of the guys who were directly involved?

Tweety surmises the reason BushCo doesn't want to prosecute the ringleaders of 911 is that all the BushCo secret prison and torture info will come out!!!!!!!! :wow:

68. She was good on both versions of the show, but on the first one .....
..... due to the technical issues for some other remote guests, she had sooo much more time and Tweety let her go.

Her commentary was fascinating. Nothing new for sharp-eyed people (like on DU), but when she puts it all togther it seemed so newly compelling.
