TOONS: This Week's Doonesbury Storyline (Must-Read)
Edited on Sat Apr-29-06 01:15 AM by Hissyspit
In case you missed it, or in case somehow your local paper has a brain-dead wingnut editorial board who won't run it, this is this week's entire Doonesbury storyline. By the way, my local paper, The Fayetteville Observer ran both Thursday and Friday's strips together to day. They printed a note that they "accidentally" forgot to run Thursday's panel - the one showing BD running over Iraqi civilians in his Humvee. Got that? The paper that serves Ft. Bragg "accidentally" forgot to run that panel the day it was supposed to run.

4. It's not the first time Trudeau's made me cry
"Breathe, BD."

The whole human condition in a comic strip -- the human comedy. Editors who hold it back just don't get it.

6. Thank you, Gary. Thank you, Hissyspit.
About 1 in 5 Iraq Vets are returning with PTSD.

We will, as a community, 'pay' for this war crime for a long, long, long time. The returning troops will pay the most, they will pay for their entire lives.

11. BD a metaphor for America in a few years?
"But you can choose not to be trapped there. You're not controlled by your memories of Iraq--You can move away from them."

"To what? My memories of Vietnam?"
