Bush has the gaul to lecture someone else on human rights?!!
George Bush is meeting with the Chinese president today, and one of the subjects they plan to talk about is human rights. WHAT!!! Bush is going to lecture someone on that subject when his own record on said subject is absolutely atrocious. That's like John Gibson or Bill O'Reilly getting up in front of an audience, and talking about their network being fair and balanced. Guantanamo Bay, and Abu Ghraib are proof positive that Bush and his administration are some of the worst serial abusers of human rights on the planet. Human Rights Watch has repeatedly criticized the Bushies for their torture of prisoners, some which have nothing to do with garnering information. Pictures and videos from Abu Ghraib shocked and inflamed the Muslim world, and are an integral part of why the Middle East has no love for us.
If the subject of human rights does come up, President Hu should come right back at him and stick Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay in his face. Yes, China does have a horrible human rights record, but the US is in no position to bring the subject up.

2. John Kerry had it right during the 2004 debates
For Bush to lecture foreign leaders on human rights "is like Tony Soprano lecturing us on law and order in this country."

4. Thanks to *'s policies, we no longer have the moral high ground
from which to speak about human rights issues. Pathetic.
