The First Chimp - the REAL chimp

My wife told me something wonderfull tonight. Cheetah, the chimp from the old Tarzan movies, is still alive! I had no idea. I guess I had just thought that he must have died years ago, but he's still with us. I feel enriched.

Tarzan movies were a huge part of my Saturday afternoons when I was a kid. I know one thing for sure: Tarzan movies that Cheeta was featured in were 10 times better than the ones where he wasn't.

This country is being run by the wrong chimp.

4. This story from 2003 is the best about Cheeta

that I found. He's still living in the same place with the same people, so I hope that the details still apply to his life today.

I like the idea of driving around with Cheeta on the front seat next to me. Convertible. Sunglasses. Cigar.
