The Insanity of Hannity
Fox's Hannity Stays the Course With Bush
By DAVID BAUDER
AP Television Writer

NEW YORK - Sean Hannity will not abandon ship. President Bush's approval ratings have sunk into the 30s, but Fox News Channel's tenacious conservative isn't wavering in his support, even while parting ways with the president over immigration and the Dubai ports deal.

"Let me be straight with you - I like George Bush," Hannity said. "I think he's a man of principle, a man of faith. I think he's got a backbone of steel and he's a real, genuine, big-time leader ... He's a consequential figure for his time. We don't see it right now."

History will vindicate Bush as a strong leader the same way it did Harry Truman, another unpopular president of his time, Hannity said.

Even surf-by viewers of "Hannity & Colmes" will recognize those opinions. The popularity of the weeknight talk show and his syndicated talk-radio show has enabled the 44-year-old Long Island native to become a business unto himself - hawking books, recommending CDs and arranging dates for like-minded singles.

10. That's what I'm talkin' about
You got that right!

Idiot is too blinded by greed to do the right thing.

11. When I think of Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, and O'Reilly, I can't help but
recall a line from Godfather II: "all our people are business men, their loyalty is based on that."

3. Perhaps too prideful to admit he's been had, like the rest of us?
It stings when your hero is proven to have feet of clay. When you're twelve, maybe. An adult can face reality, learn from his mistakes, and move on.

Anything and everything that these Fox-holes have been saying about Dubya has been debunked, time and time again. It's pathetic, really, to see supposedly intelligent men and women forced by pride and ideology to chew a turd on camera and say it's finger-lickin' good. Even cranky old George will's starting to smell the coffee.

4. They don't call that show "Insanity & Comatose" for nothing
And the Foxaganda mouthpiece and professional asshat Hannity is a major Nazi fuckstick who, as Hunter S. Thompson once said of Hubert Humphrey, should be bottled up and sent out with the Japanese current.

5. Do not assume Sean Hannity is a real person.
He is a twisted sick media idea created and owned by Fox. There is a program and poor Hannity is probably incapable of working outside his persona.

6. "Let me be straight with you"
Sean Hannity is a major league hand-job.

History will note him as one of the biggest hand-jobs in the history of American television and radio.

I hate this rat bastard.

12. Hey, that's offensive to rat bastards.
I'd put him more on the level of rat bastard toe jam, if I ever gave him much thought.

7. He would lose millions if he admitted it
His "fans" would rip him to shreds. Its easier, and more profitable, for him to stay stupid. The man is about as intelligent as a stump, just like those who listen to his show..

9. I seriously doubt his fan club is in the millions...perhaps on a rare
given night he may get a million in an audience. But you can bet they're not all Hannity fans.

8. He either says that or he's out of work. He made a fortune doing what
mouthpieces for neocons do best: bullshitting the general public to the point of brainwashing.

Why should he stop now just because Bush is so unpopular? George Bush, neocons, & the religious right have put a lot of bread and butter on Hannity's table over the years. All those liars need each other to coexist.

14. He has the audacity to use O Fortuna
from Orff's "Carmina Burana" as his radio show theme music...what an insult to good music, to be used to prop up his braindead hatefest.

15. When a man's (big fat) paycheck depends on his not seeing something
You can be very sure that he won't see it. Which explains why Hannity can continue to spew nonsense such as Bush being a man of principle (the principle is "me first") and faith ("money talks, bullshit walks"). What's unfortunate for so many in this country that they don't get paid millions of dollars every year to similarly subscribe to such nonsense.
