Ass kiss rodeo: LTE praising Tom Delay
Deconstructing DeLay
Wrong end of the Hammer

As former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, retires, it seems that some are trying to rewrite history. Truth is, DeLay embodies how small majorities in the House and Senate can drive dramatic policy changes.

DeLay forced Bill Clinton to sign welfare reform, drove Clinton to balance the budget, and held Clinton accountable for some of his illegal behavior. DeLay was part of the team that saved our economy with tax cuts after the Clinton market crash and the resulting recession.

These successes have driven Democrats and the media to demonize DeLay. After all, if you can't beat him, criminalize his politics.

Above all else, it's DeLay's successful redistricting in Texas that has inspired those that want to jail him.
