11. Dean - Is Health, Education, and Welfare a cabinet post?
I've watched him; he personally really wants to see National Health Care for Children get started. I think it is a personal motivation for him.

5. Ah, but watch out, greenbriar. If you had Gore and Kerry and Edwards
in the federal government, you'd have to then do without the torrent of deceptions, the horrifying appointments, the fascist Supreme Court nominations, the dismissive and contemptuous campaign against Science, the anti-intellectual code behavior that permeates Homeland Defense, PLUS we'd be forced to re-establish mature diplomatic relations with our allies and respect other cultures.

Be careful what you wish for!

___

(I'd vote for your ticket/administration in a heartbeat.)

12. You bet. The Republicans cheated. And recent events have given
the theory of karma quite a boost.

Go, Dems.

14. i've had many people tell me that they did not like the alternatives
to bush meaning gore and kerry. gore's mistake was distancing himself from big dawg. some people perceived kerry as a windsurfing rich guy. we better make sure we get someone really electible to run next time. i, for one, cannot deal with another defeat. just watching election day on the west wing the other night made me nervous.:scared:

19. I'm not sure there's any such thing
as long as the media can spin anyone we pick any way they choose. They did it to two good men, they'll do it to others. It's quite chilling to read www.dailyhowler.com. I've surfed around in his archives and it was quite enlightening to find out just how much things were distorted. I hadn't realized what exactly had been done to Gore before I read his site.

Winning depends at least as much on us pushing our candidates like we mean it. Anybody But (whoever) ain't never going to work. And if I see "dime's worth a difference" again anytime soon I'll puke. There was more than a dime's worth of difference between either Kerry or Gore and Bush.

15. Senator Kerry wants to be President.
I don't think he could tolerate not being at the top of the ticket.

I look for the 2008 nomination process to be a complete bloodbath on the Dem. side. I hope I'm wrong. Lots of big egos in this party.

:(

20. Whats interesting about your post is Gore had Kerry on his list of
possible VP choices. I would prefer a President Kerry, but a Pres. Gore and VP Kerry would be Ok also.
