I'm not going to assume it's manufactured because she's black, a woman, and speaks truth to power, as she might just be black, a woman, someone who speaks truth to power and who also biffed a cop.

If she biffed a cop, then it doesn't matter if she's black, a woman and speaks truth to power. She can be a someone who is black, a woman, speaks truth to power, pays her fine and goes home then.

She is innocent til proven guilty.
