Why is Bush going to Ohio again
I heard that he will be in Ohio tomorrow for the season opener in Cincinatti, he was just
in Cleveland last week. What's up.

5. DeWine tried to avoid him during the last visit
It's unusual for him not to be in Crawford after going to a conference in Cancun, I am sure that the brush has grown at least a millimeter since his last trip home.

9. So Sherrod Brown has 8.9% lead over DeWine
Interesting, do you realize that Rep. Bob Ney (the author) of HAVA and Sen. DeWine are
both big Bush supporters, what if Sherrod Brown was elected and Bob Ney had to resign,
there might be some interesting repercussions for Team Bush.

12. Pump up Blackwell
no other reason to take time out of his busy day of workouts and peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches. I'm sure he'll find a previously selected townhall group to do a Repug lovefest while he's there.

15. Because...
if they lose Ohio in 2006, they will probably lose it in 2008. And no Republican has ever won without Ohio, I don't think?

16. Also I have a feeling that things will start to unravel
if the Dems win, the corporate lobbies are not going to be very happy at their huge
investment going down the tubes.

19. I agree
I think Karl Rove already declared Ohio as THE battleground State for this year.

Not only is Ohio about 50:50 Statewide, we are also hip-deep in Republican corruption with Taft, Petro, Blackwell, et. al. Plus, the economy, and local school systems are suffering. Ohio is sick and tired of the same ole' same ole' and very ready to turn blue if we play it right we will win big - and the repugs know it.

20. at least he's not going on another vacation
This is the most vacationing president I have ever seen. Even in his weak jokes, watch how he regularly refers to "skipping class" and dodging other responsibilities. Freud would have a field day with many of his speeches and jokes.

22. It's very sad, I was telling my sister
and she agreed with me that I remember Kennedy and Johnson in suit and ties, Truman
the same way. She said there was some kidding of Nixon when he was on the beach in
San Clemente, he took off his shoes and socks and was still wearing a suit. I never
remember a president dressed so casually all the time.
