Republican C-Span callers SUPPORT censure!
Unbelievable. Yes. The Democrats are gutless wonders, however, it is my belief that the Republicans blew this one, bigtime. Listen to the responses! They are all the same. THE PRESIDENT BROKE THE LAW! Period. The American people KNOW THAT! Very telling, IMO.

2. Bush IS an embarrassment to the party. A true conservative
would never support him at this point.

The only people still holding on are just too stubborn and proud to admit they made a mistake voting for him.

6. Well, I wouldn't say that. It's not like they're the brightest people.
They tend to follow the crowd and do what's considered acceptable/popular.

Let's talk budget and foreign policy. The administration's agenda is the most radical in American history.

The true conservatives among my family and friends are uniformly horrified by BushCo's assaults upon their cherished systems of American democracy. The Repubs running for election in '06 are headed for a heap of trouble when they discover their own constituency either decline to support them or, quelle horreure, vote for the opposition.

"Quelle horreure" is that they can just count on their fixed e-voting machines to handle any loss of public support.

after that travesty of a "hearing." it's going to be up to the people to get justice - our congress is lame.
