Did the Bush Meltdown Yesterday Make it to the News?
I read the discussion here yesterday and was waiting to see something on the media but didn't. Did it make it out there or did it just kind of go away?

3. one of the problems is that the public is desensitized to to His Lunacy
so hearing shit like "one of the great things about America is that we cry when a kid gets blown up by an IED" has become status quo.

I played that for co-workers and they looked at me like I was crazy for thinking it was crazy. It was just another one of those twilight zone moments I guess.

8. I agree..
some of the most absurd lunacy, such as the "shut 'er down" cable guy comment, comes out of his mouth, and the media dutifully reports it like it's perfectly normal. 75% of what comes out of his mouth makes no sense whatsoever. It defies logic.

9. Mike Malloy replayed some of the low-lights of the bushie Press Conf.
He almost sounded like a parody of himself -- he really couldn't string two coherent sentences (and sometimes words) together.

Someone wrote into Mike that they've heard drugged out clients speak and behave in similar ways. I remember trying to help high school Sophomore arrange his schedule for the next year -- he was drugged and it was so fascinating listening to him string a bunch of words together -- he THOUGHT he was making a lot of sense -- but of course he made no sense at all just like most of what bushie was saying yesterday.

10. Let's Face It
If the majority of the voters thought one whit about what * says he wouldn't be in office.
His speeches are freaky. His expressions are freaky. Workable ideas are nonexistent. His reading is atrocious. How in the world was he elected? Unless...Are American voters admirers of freaky facemakers who can't read and have no workable ideas?

12. As Mencken said:
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
