If bin Laden were a Democrat, Bush might actually think about him. Karl Rove would be assassinating bin Laden's character. The GOP Congress would concern themselves with destroying bin Laden, defunding him, disempowering him.

Bin Laden's lucky he's a Republican.

3. You know who Bush considers the REAL enemy that must be defeated
It's the domestic opposition. How are Americans asked to support the war? Voting republican. Backing the president. Nothing else.

8. The clue should have been that he has been vewy, vewy quiet
but once again the MSM has been preoccupied, from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden

Twice newspapers have reported his death. The first report in December 2001 was quickly disproven when bin Laden issued a videotape. The second report that bin Laden died in June 2005 was published in a Pakistani newspaper. Few Western publications decided the news was worth reporting. <6> In January 2006, audiotapes purportedly from bin Laden were aired on all popular news media (audio <7>, transcript <8>). The authenticity of these tapes, while still disputed, has been confirmed by the United States Central Intelligence Agency.

7. Not a chance
Bin Laden still would have been loose, no matter who was president. If he is hiding in the lawless territory between the borders, no one is going to catch him there. Yes, Bush screwed up by not catching him earlier, but president Kerry wasn't going to do much better.

9. Never had a President Kerry, but.........
.......if we had put 150,000+ American soldiers in Afghanistan to do the job correctly, instead of going into Iraq on a lark instead, I believe finding one six foot five inch Arab carrying a dialysis machine around on foot, would have been much much easier.

Problem was, no matter how many people he killed on American soil....he wasn't carrying around ANY OIL!!

10. I believe we could put 500,000 troops in Afghanistan
And it still would not have made much difference. Remember, Bin Laden is well protected, and if he is Waziristan, like we think he is, that's not an easy place to go and pluck him from.
