5. On Thom Hartmann today, they said he's planning to run for....

Anyone know if that's true?

6. I just read that his wife is a Presbyterian minister
(?) is this true? If that's the case, I wonder how Card lasted as long as he did, with this vile administration.

7. Mrs. Card?
It's interesting only in that it's sort of a rats leaving a sinking ship scenario.

Otherwise, it's just crony for crony.

14. It was Andy Card all along. He's the one Responsible.
Andy Card is responsible for Iraq. Bush? He didn't want to invade until Card twisted Bush's arm behind his back and slammed his head on the desk of the Oval Office until he agreed to do it. See? It was all Andy Card's fault.

And Katrina? Don't get me started! Bush was all "Hey let's respond immediately with all the resources at our disposal" but Card was all "Oh, I don't think it's that bad -- let's wait a day or two."

I'm telling you, America will be so much better off with out Andy Card. And that doesn't even take into account the deficit and the...

...whoops.

Damn. I dropped all of my RNC talking points. Let me get back to you.

...but this will be great for the Bush Administration. Everything will be smooth sailing from here on out.

15. Andrew Card....
.... is a non-entity. His "resignation" is a non-event. The only possible silver lining would be if he is about to be indicted. And frankly, there are lots of folks I'd rather see indicted.
