How has the Republican Congress helped America since 2000?
Roaring into the 2006 midterms, just wondering what they'll be schmoozing their fund raising base and voters with?

Here's a hint: Attack Democrats ! That's all I can find cruising the web on conservative sites. It sounds awfully defensive to me, so the repukes MUST go, how do we frame that !?

There must be more to the Republican platform than calling Dems doody-heads

So, I thought this might be a good question to exercise our debate framing in '06:

How has the Republican Congress helped American since 2000?

3. Why they've done all sorts of things, they've
kissed a lot of ass,

passed a lot of pork,

rubber stamped virtually everything the Bush Administration wanted passed,

denigrated a lot of Democrats and others who didn't think like them,

taken a lot of bribes,

stifled ethics investigations,

why, the list is almost endless.

4. Republicans "Liberated" us from a $128 Billion dollar surplus
and "gave" us a 9 trillion dollar debt. In addition...Republicans gave us Record High Energy Prices. Lets see...They also ran to an Emergency Special Sunday Session to pass a law to rescue one brain dead woman..forget hurricane victims, they can drown, die of starvation and thirst for 5 days..not important.

They "saved" us from the evils of science...no stem cell research or any attention paid to global warming..why waste time and money on that when we could spend it on Iraq & Halliburton & Exxon Mobil?

Bush wanted to give our ports to Dubai...yet Bin Laden, Anthrax Terrorits and the recently escaped USS Cole bombers are all free....thats how "tough" they are on terrorism.

To sum it up...they haven't done one good god d** thing in 5 years.

Wonderful points! Too bad they grew balls over that Dubai thing, eh? IMHO, only because it's an election year? Rubber stamping Bush is more dangerous on all the other sh*t too. God Bless Amerika :(

11. Oh Paul, you are SOOOOOO right......
Bush and his Republican Congress of thugs have destroyed our country, here, and around the world. The American citizens should be embarrassed, and the GOP should stop looking so desperate

With hopes, we'll get back to the democracy of checks and balances this fall, if we don't, heaven help us all

I cannot think of a single GOOD thing any Republican has done since 2000.
Yeah I'm stumped.. not a single thing. They're pretty good at name calling...
but as far as any real action or good deed... nada zilch zippo

Is this a trick question :-)
