Tucker Carlson: "Thomas uses W.H. briefing room to air political views"...
..."and it's not the first time"

Just heard it on the intro to his show. Calls her remarks "propaganda"...and miraculously avoids using the same label for Bush's dog 'n' pony show.

NO, I am NOT going to watch.

16. And of course, Bush wasn't. WTF? Asking a question is airing
political views. This is even low for Tucker.

2. As opposed to
the propaganda Bush was spewing???

Give me a break. I'm glad someone is finally calling Bush on his BS. In Tucker's world the press is just supposed to take Chucklenuts at his word and ask no questions except for maybe, "What can we do to help?"

Enough is enough. It's time for the press, the congress, the huddled masses to stop enabling this idiot. He actually believes that people agree with him because there are so many filters on the information that he receives.
He needs to hear what we really think. Unfiltered.

3. When facts and reality conflict with what they want us to believe
Edited on Tue Mar-21-06 11:10 PM by Gman
they call facts and reality "political views". That then spins fact and reality into the realm of what is only a point of view and makes their fantasies just as real.

4. Tucker is really unwatchable and should be cancelled.
* just got a small taste today of what he should have been getting from the press, congress, senate, and american people five years ago! He has gone unchecked and unchallenged for so long that helen thomas' questions are being viewed by rethugs as some type of seditionist questioning. she did what the press is supposed to do. check the facts and ask the tough questions. I'm proud of her tenacity and courage to do what IS right and just.

6. How is a simple question propoganda ??
"Why did you invade Iraq?"

Simple question.., and still I don't believe Bush supplied an answer.
Or at least one that anyone on the planet could make sense of.

Tucker is still following the Rove script for today entitled
"Blame the press for everything" . Too bad it's backfiring.. BIG TIME.

9. He REALLY pissed me off when he said some derogatory comment
about her looks. The woman was born August 4 1020!!!!! She is 86 for crying out loud.

Screw you shithead Carlson. I think we should all write about his disgusting lack of respect toward our senior citizens.

13. He's a smarmy little a**hole
Would he have said the same if the president was Democratic? Probably not. Gads, it's becoming more and more obvious how the MSM are shills for the GOP.

17. I think Tucker was right
Helen did air her views on the war. And it wasn't the first time. Except her views are right and she was calling out Bush and exposing him for what he is. I applaud her for it.

I wouldn't call it "propaganda" though. It isn't propaganda if it is the truth.

18. He's an idiotic mama's boy. I truly believe Helen Thomas would
roundhouse kick his ass all over the White House lawn if he spouted his bullshit in front of her.
