Sadly, BobcatJH,I did see what Bush pretends is a press conference. The only "tough" question that I saw came from Helen "old Arab" Thomas about why Bush went to war. I saw a man who clearly was afraid of an elderly woman. Bush was rude,intemperate and condescending. For once,Tweety Matthews saw the same thing,a man who was clearly grandstanding,cocky and arrogant. Pat Buchanan,who sometimes remembers that he is a partisan hack GOP operative trotted out the newest GOP attempt at spin: Boo-hoo-hoo,the evil nasty "liberal" media won't give us the "true" story in Iraq.This is the excuse they used to claim that we "lost" in Vietnam,the media wouldn't let us finish the war. Sadly,the public who despises the media may once again be dumb enough to fall for that one,and if they do fall for it,watch the Rethuglicans try to wrap it around the necks of the Dems this fall.(traitor=media=Democrats.) Outside of Thomas I didn't see any real tough questions. There was even Carl Cameron,the Guckert/Gannon news whore with the obligatory Faux news softball about the "terrorist surveillance program" bullshit. The topper was that Bush has condemned our troops to die in Iraq until he's gone. If that isn't the biggest reason alone to vote Democratic this fall, I don't know what is. Is this guy that delusional that he thinks that the american public will pu up with this for anothet two years? I guess it's another case of conservatives making the mess and liberals having to clean them up. Impeach this bastard,before he does any more damage.:cry: :puke: :wtf: :dunce:
