7. They never mention PNAC not ever...
Edited on Tue Mar-21-06 05:42 PM by radio4progressives
I was glad Helen Thomas mentioned it, but it needed to be amplified, it needed to be clarified - and Wolfie protecting his Neo Con friends, let the moment pass unnoticed..

Interesting remark by Helen, regarding Wolfie's asking President Clinton if he will resign..

I never saw that at the time... didn't know he did that.

I'm glad to have that piece of factoid brought to my attention...

10. PNAC and the GOP-owned voting machines are 2 things
of which we may not speak - as even admitting their existence raise too many questions wanting answers. If Wolfie didn't know what PNAC was, he could of asked, so I'll assume he knows.

Next someone ask America if they think either party should control the counting of votes. We don't have to prove that the elections were stolen, only that reasonable people would agree that fairness - and confidence in the system by the appearance of fairness - is not served by a GOP-privatized vote count.

12. Oh Helen, you are indeed a beautiful woman!!
What fortitude she has. She's my hero. I just happend to turn the tube on because another poster said that the * press conference was all over the news, and there she was, giving it to Bush, then Wolf. Swoon. I also can't believe that PNAC was spoken aloud on national news.

14. Here's the text where she mentioned PNAC
Helen Thomas: "...he wanted to go into Iraq. He had all the neo-conservatives advising him at the top of their agenda for Project for the New American Century: First Iraq, then Iran (shakes her head no, correcting herself) then Syria, then Iran and so forth..."

"...you couldn't sit in that pressroom day after day... everytime it was mentioned by Ari Fleischer or Scott, they would say in one breath 9-11, Saddam Hussein. 9-11 Saddam Hussein. I don't... I don't blame the American people for thinking there was a tie..."

Wolfie: "So you don't accept his answer today? You think what? He was still spinning? Is that what you're saying?"

Helen: "It wasn't that. I think maybe in his own mind he didn't but I think that everybody who knows... everybody who is in the know, knows that Iraq was on target... it was on the radar screen from the moment he came into office. Treasury Secretary says it. People in CIA say it, and so forth. Nothing would deter him. It was a very big goal"
