Nothing they can say or do can fix the lies...
Like powder and paint on a whore, it only changes her appearance for a short time. So it is with the lies of this Administration. Nothing can happen that they will not try to spin or put in a light that is most favorable to themselves. Even if they have to lie. And they have no qualms about lying. The people buy it. That's all that matters.

Hell, they can lie about WMDs...If it doesn't sell, they'll just change their story. It's not about WMDs, they will say. It's about freedom and democracy for the Iraqi people. As soon as that lie no longer sells to the people, they will change it again.

Now, whatever they say, we know it's a lie. They cannot be trusted. What happens when the time comes that they might need to tell the truth? No one will believe them. That is where a big part of this nation is at right now. They have been lied to too many times.

1. I wish more Dems would sign the censure. Also,
I was reading a few news stories before coming online. I can't imagine why the dam isn't bursting. I mean, how long can the lies, the deficits, the everything OK in Iraq deceit, spending out of control thugs keep going?

Australia just had a cyclone. Disaster relief already going full speed:

Stephen Young, deputy executive director of Queensland's Counter Disaster and Emergency Services, said relief was flowing to Innisfail from all over Australia.

About 120 troops were helping deliver aid, while clean up and specialist urban search and rescue crews were heading to the town.

Among supplies flowing into the town were nearly 40,000 liters (10,500 gallons) of water, 6,000 in-flight meals provided by national flag carrier Qantas, as well as gas and gasoline.

A republican said this:

Rep. Heather A. Wilson (R-N.M.) said in an interview that Cheney was wrong about the insurgency being in its last throes and that she sent word to the White House recently to level with the American people about the challenges. "We need to assume that things are going to be very hard because when you do, you plan accordingly," said Wilson. "I am always cautious about always seeing things in the best light because war is not like that" and the public knows it.

It's spring...time to pull the weeds OUT!
