It's time for the American people to come out of the fantasy world. The Republicans said they could cut taxes and increase revenues. The bottom line is: they lied. They have put us into debt by $3 trillion dollars in 5 short years. The simple truth is: we cannot afford them. It's time for a democratic alternative.

1. Republicans always swear they are fiscal conservatives. But then they

always spend like the proverbial drunken sailor (sorry to any sailors out there). Look at the Reagan years. The only funding the cut is funding that is used to for health and welfare for the middle and lower classes, the elderly, sick, and mentally ill.

They love to blow the budget on defense (?) spending and enabling the rich and corporate America.

It's just the way they are.
