2 Dems are running against Feinstein!
Does anyone have any info on these two Democratic candidates, who qualified to run in the primary against "Dino" Diane Feinstein?

Colleen Fernald

Martin Luther Church

2. Fernald appears to be an environmentalist, based on a google search.

She's listed an an exhibit manager of ecofest and has spoken out at some local meetings on water quality issues.

I couldn't find a thing on Martin Luther Church, whose name unfortunately is identical to many churches named after MLK.

DUers, please help dig out some info to see if either appears to be a viable candidate with progressive values.

Im glad to hear some people are throwing the hat in the ring, irregardless of what the outcome is. This is why we have a primary.

4. I found this info on the CA Secretary of State's website.
It's official, both have qualified, as well as some third party candidates.

5. Two Dems? Fascinating. Hope they have some backing...
...or incredible policy. Feinstein has deep deep pockets.

Ask Huffington. She nearly bankrupted Ariana's husband when he ran against her.

6. I've sent inquiries to some Dem leaders to see if these are serious
challengers or not.

A lot of people here are ready to vote for "other" rather than DiFi, though.
