It has been quite awhile since I received a solicitation from HRC or the the DSCC. Today one finally came giving me the opportunity to print out Molly Ivins articles titled, "Enough of the D.C. Dems" and "I will not support Hilary Clinton for President" and mail them back in the postage paid envelope. :evilgrin:

Under no circumstances will I donate to eiher HRC or the DSCC; all my donations go to individual progressive candidates. I was pleased to have an opportunity to send that message to the DSCC.

Enclosed was a list of seven things that have gone wrong under bushco. No mention of Iraq on the list. Will the DSCC ever get the message? :headbang:

First we have to take back our party from the Republocrats then we can try to take back the country. In my opinion, many of the Republocrats will be welcome in the struggle to take back the country once they understand and accept that we are in control not their corporate backers. In order for that to happen we must elect as many Progressive Democrats as possible this fall.

Have been yelling at us all for five years and their strategies are ubiquitously erroneous. They can talk to the hand, as it were.

6. I did essentially the same thing today.

My letter came yesterday. I wrote with a black sharpie that they wouldn't see one dime until they grew a spine. Then I listed re: Alito, The Patriot Act, Censure, Iraq and so on. I told them to wake up and that the only one who would see any money would be Russ Feingold. If enough of us do this, they hopefully will get the message that they've got to take a stand.

IN ALL LIKELIHOOD what you wrote will go to a fulfilment house where a minimum wage clerk who may or may not be all that literate in the first place won't particularly give a damn, and your eloquent -- or just passionate -- words will go nowhere.
