Did anyone watch Washington Journal this morning on CSPAN?
If you did, did you notice the amount of Republican callers that got on there and were FOAMING at the mouth attacking any guest they had? They were constantly attacking the guests, the hosts, other callers, and the scary liberals.

These people were freaking out this morning; however, they still continue to show their absolute

One woman called in and jumped all over Steve this morning about how CSPAN never says anything positive about President Bush. I was thinking, "Well DUH!" She claimed that no one said anything positive about Bush so Steve asked her what she thought about the specific subject.

Now this woman said that no matter what President Bush did, it was the right thing to do because he only did it to help this country. She agreed with everything he did and said but the Liberal Media (where??)as well as CSPAN and other news never said anything good about Bush. I was starting to wonder if it was his mother, Barbara Bush, calling in.

Any other opinions about this morning's show?

If you haven't watched it you can go to their website and watch it in real player. It really is not to be missed as it really showed how stupid these people STILL are.

2. I heard that nutcase but...
I was in the other room and didn't see Steve's face. Did his expression change when she accused him of being a liberal? The caller was Bushbot Central!

3. yesterday they had Sammon & Boaz; today Kay Granger - yawn

all 3 were spewing the same old boring talking points.

I think W.J. is acting all scared and has the same old spinners on because of it.

4. There are always more Rerpublican than Democratic callers.
Many times, Republicans call in pretending to be Democrats or, rarely, independents. Par for the course. Blaming Bill CLinton for everything is their favorite argument followed closely by the "liberal media is being mean to Bush" argument

5. They actually think the hosts "said" something...
I think that is the greatest testimony to a caller stupidity...

You only have to watch WJ for about 5 minutes to figure out the HOSTS DONT COMMENT!!!

But - true to form - the GOP can find bias in the way someone picks up the phone!

7. Heard the wacko call in as well..accusing CSPAN of being * haters
what a lark.. Its the hunker down, build a bunker, there all out to get us mentality of the reich wingers. If anything they lean a little to the right.. I saw the GOP love feast yesterday morning. A number of repuke callers after her critized her comments.

8. The last guest was complete tool!!!
He painted a picture of American Agriculture that is a complete lie!!!

Either he was shilling for some corporatist or he is completely out of touch with the American people.

He kept saying "Kids dont want to be farmers anymore...the younger generations wont work on the farm"

Intersting - becasue in my neck of the woods - there are plenty of little "c" coporate farms that have been passed from generation to genreation - and still are....

of the 6 nephews, not one is planning on going into farming

there's 4 girls but none of them are interested either

12 sections of prime dryland wheat and lentils and nobody to work it when hubby's brother (53) and cousin (51) retire.......

edit to add, BIL and cousin are the 5th generation to farm that land.

15. My farmer friends all went to college and had jobs...
before they went back to the farm...

As teenagers - they thought there was NO WAY they would work on the farm...

But most of them came back...and took over the farm.

13. I love those idiots.
As if the staff at the National Archives would WATCH someone stuff papers into his underwear and not stop him or say anything until after he left. Just shows the utter illogic of the reich wing.

12. I thought that the "True Nutjob" prize this morning should be awarded to
the woman who called in from OH while the R-female rep. was on and accused c-span of merely being a forum for "Bush-haters". She then went on to tell the rep. to watch out 'cause she was gonna get lots of hostile callers. Is this the woman that you're referring to? She was a real gem.

14. I had to change channels
I just couldn't keep listening to these evil, stupid, idiotic, brain dead, vegetable Repugs any longer. They really are too stupid to live! I'm sorry, most are taxed at just keeping their blood pressure, breathing, and eye blinking going all at the same time. To have to think on top of that is really asking too much of them!

Shows what a diet of Kool Aid will do to you.

I watched The Golden Girls on Lifetime instead. More palatable. ;)
