I hope he gets ripped to shreds if he runs in 2008. Plus, I really wonder if he's healthy enough to run. He doesn't look well to me.

Bet this ends up in Freeperville.

2. pockeftful of mumbles
reminds me of Lieberman, always defending Bush, even when he was on the TDS during
the 04 RNC, he didn't come out and criticize how they were hate mongering. Like
on the Zell Miller thing, it was just pitiful. Yet there he was doing his Mr. Geniality
routine, I have more respect for someone that just stands up and says too far, enough.

7. He's a Keatting Five, Bush kissing repuke. His credibility
should be gone by now since he's been sucking up to Bush for 5 years. He will not be forgiven. Tie him to Bush's failed policies.

8. McCain has ZERO chance - he has been rejected by the Religious Reich
for his tolerance of alternative lifestyles, his acceptance of 'junk science' (aka global warming) and his part in the 'traitorous' filibuster compromise.

After the filibuster scuffle, Dr. James Dobson issued a fatwa on McCain and declared his political career over. Dr. James Dobson is one of the most powerful radical clerics in the Religious Reich. His extremest group 'Focus on the Family' has their own zip code.

10. Agreed. His speech in Virginia Beach will haunt him.....
Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and a few leaders of the pro-life movement call me an unacceptable presidential candidate. Why? Because I don’t pander to them, because I don’t ascribe to their failed philosophy that money is our message.

We embrace the fine members of the religious conservative community. But that does not mean that we will pander to their self-appointed leaders. are corrupting influences on religion and politics. They shame our faith, our party and our country.

Neither party should be defined by pandering to the outer reaches of American politics and the agents of intolerance whether they be Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton on the left, or Robertson or Falwell on the right.

13. Mrs. B voted for McCain in the 2000 primary -
She told me today that there is no way she would support him now - has seen him for what he really is.

I don't think he'll run for President, he's health should be a concern too.

17. I would like to like the man, but his default support of Dumbya makes
that impossible now.

I agree with several others here that he doesn't look well at all.
