And they stood up like little Nazis and applauded the criminal over and over again with standing ovations. Tell us what we want to hear - not the truth. It was a sad and pitiful event, in my opinion.

1. Anybody see the war-mongering John Edwards speak to AIPAC?
I listened for about 10 minutes and had to shut it off in disgust. He was parroting the the neocon line, all the way.

2. I did not but ...
did he go as far as Cheney in literally declaring war on Hamas and Syria and Iran? I would be surprised.

13. ??
I campaigned for Kerry and Edwards - spent many hours phone-banking and planting signs. I am just disappointed that the guy I admired so much then (except for his war vote) still hasn't figured out that the whole thing needs to be called off.

I blame Bushco for starting the war, but I blame our Dems for not standing up to the criminals. The more our "leaders" let them get away with, the longer our "leaders" "keep their powder dry" and go along to get along, the more damage Bushco does, and the more power they grab.

4. When at the AIPAC Convention do as the conventioneers do
namely be a right wing likudnik hawk! Any wonder why Amerikan foreign policy is so irredeemably screwed up? This group of people exerts vast & I would argue, inappropriate influence upon the politics of this Country.

Cheney represents an fascinating group of interests: neocons and oil companies. One would almost they're willing to do just about anything -- including committing treason, espionage and killing a lot of Americans -- to grab Middle East oil fields back from the Arabs and the Iranians.

What a perfect opportunity missed. All they had to do was roll the paddie wagons to the doors of the DC Conventions Center. "Rows A-F, now boarding at Gate 6."

7. It was so 2005
I didn't know both parties were still trying to out-loyal each other to Israel. It would be so refreshing if either gave a rat's ass about the working people here.

12. Mr. Razor Is Being Mild, My Friend
That particular comparison is ofensive to a great many people. Nor is it particularly apt, as there is nothing perculiar to Nazis about standing and cheering a speaker with enthusiasm....
