Going into business is like being a crack addict
You get really egotistical, you lie all the time, and you die young.

5. Maybe if your business is selling crack...
I happen to know a lot of business-people who are good liberals despite making lots of money. Your broad-brush attack is just silly.

17. I was having a bad day! Really Busy! Very Tired. I was poking fun at
myself though it doesn't apply to me. I think I was considering that I could make more money as a dishwasher or something. Lol.

Take Care!

7. No, you've got it all wrong....
Being in business for yourself is the ultimate. You work like a lunatic, are pretty much on your own. It's kinda like jumping in to the deep end of the pool....with no life preserver. You either sink or swim.

But what a great feeling! Bottom line is, you'll never get rich working for somebody else.

9. Everything you said, plus...
...When you're in business for yourself, you OWN the agenda.

When you work for someone else, YOUR agenda is the COMPANY'S agenda...so you'd BETTER believe in it enough to give your LIFE to it. Your "mission" is all laid out for you when you walk in the door...and for some folks, that's not a bad thing. It eliminates the decision-making process, one of several key "sticking points" for those who aren't cut out to go it alone.
