Feb. 7-8 is the true test of Dean
According to the latest ARG polls, he doesn't even have 15% in any Feb. 3 states. howevever coming up after that are the caucuses in Washington, Michigan and Maine. If Dean is going to make a comeback, it has to be then. Right now we could argue the main reason he hasn't been doing too great so far and probably won't on Feb. 3 is all the states up until then have ranged from centrist to conservative. But if Dean can't win any of those upcoming 3 more liberal states, what can he win?

3. Wisconsin is February 17th
It will be either Kerry or Clark. Dean is old cheese at this point in Wisconsin.

2. I saw a Michigan poll yesterday.
Dean was getting smoked there like 32-19. There is a decent chance he will get 0 delegates on Tuesday. I don't see how that is positive.

4. This should be interesting
Feburary 3rd is going to be a BIG test everywhere. It will test Kerry's across the board appeal, it will test if Clark's strategy works or not (I think it will), and it will test to see if Edwards can stay viable. That day is going to make or break a LOT of candidates.

Then February 7th is going to be as big. If Clark or Edwards can nail so much as ONE of those states, then it is VERY possible that they will be able to maintain solid momentum. That and Kerry will need to get at least one of those states to stay in after Feb 3rd, because things aren't looking so hot for him in the southwest right about now, and if Dean loses on the 7th, then he may as well drop out as he won't have much left in terms of money or momentum.

5. I was happy to hear Dean commit to dropping out
if he keeps getting blown away at the ballot box.
