1. He's the only one listening to the voters and working on povety
but I don't hear any elected dems speaking of his good works. Maybe I'm missing it when they do...

3. Have you checked out his podcast?
I'm such a cynical person and I know when I'm being led toward something but he's out among and addressing the 'least of these' in a way no other progressive is right now. John Edwards is behaving like a liberal.

6. If he would only stayed in the Senate...
He would do alot good cause he would still have the power do do something. He can't do shit now.

7. Yes, but...
I would argue that on some important issues, he has done some good shit. He got a minimum wage initiative to appear on the ballot in Albuquerque, and he is working on getting those passed in about half a dozen other states like Michigan, Ohio, etc. And, he has also opened a model college program in the poorest NC District to put into practice his "College for Everyone" plan that he talked about: first year of college with free tuition and books if you work or volunteer 10 hours a week. I think he is doing more on the economic issues than the congress is. Yes, it is activism, and not legislative work... but I would say that they both are important. While, of course, he would be more effective in the Senate, I would say that he is being productive in different ways now.
