How much will you bet me...
Edited on Thu Feb-16-06 02:48 PM by smoogatz
The reason for the lengthy delay in contacting the media after Cheney shot the old guy in face was NOT because they were worried that Cheney was drunk, and NOT because they were getting their stories straight, but because Cheney and his goons were trying to get either Armstrong or the Ambassadress to take the fall. THAT's why Armstrong notified the local rag--because she wanted to get Rove et al off her case. Betcha a twelvepack of Leinie Red.

1. Interesting!
Best way to protect yourself in that situation - beat them to the press with a public statement. Once made, there's no going back ..

4. The only question, though, is why did she blame Harry?
Unless she is totally stupid....she was the one who put out that bullshit about Harry sneaking back into the line.

I mean, hell, even the NRA says "Don't shoot yer dogs or yer huntin' partners" as the first rule. And the second rule is always know where yer huntin' partners are before ya pull the trigger!

7. Figured it was best not to screw Rove openly?
Everyone seems to be terrified of the man; it's apparent, though, that she was not an actual eye-witness to the shooting. I imagine there was some pretty ferocious negotiating going on.

8. Well, Rove's TX office, as well as the GOP HQ, was in a building OWNED
by Hapless Harry. Apparently they got a huge break on the rent. The ties between Harry and the Monkey, and Harry and Rove, are way closer than the ties between Little Sure Shot DUCK!!!! and Harry....

3. Interesting theory
It would also explain the disconnect between the statements by "DUCK!!!!!'s" people and her people about who decided to do what when regarding the release of info.

I also found it curious that no one wanted to NAME the sultry blonde ambassadress as a party in the hunt initially.

I also found it odd that they went out in the morning, came back and supposedly had lunch around the noon hour, but didn't go back out again until after three. Was there any bumping and grinding involved in the interim??? Or were they sitting at a table for what, THREE HOURS? Could "naps" have been involved???

9. Well, as I have said elsewhere, cheaters fall into patterns
They tend to go for a similar type...in essence, a younger, or more prosperous, or more "interesting" (in whatever fashion appeals to them) model of the paradigm. This lady could be Lynnie's sister:

A little less wear on the treads, but hey, same car...!!!
