1. Maybe he didn't get the bounce they were expecting.
If he had, it would have been all over the news.

4. I don't think he got a bounce.
And the media is loathe to print it.

Remember when they giggled every time they printed scathing pieces on Clinton?

5. popularity of president-for-life is irrelevant. 9/11 changed everything.
they are setting the stage for completely ignoring the people.

soon banana republicans everywhere will be parrotting that shrub's popularity is irrelevant, he's the commander-in-chief fighting a global war on terror and that's all you need to know.

8. Polls? We don't need no stinking polls.
Unless they clearly show Shrub bounces, and dems falling. Then we can see the polls. The giggling, cackling ueber-aryan CW of A wannabee news heads aren't going to be talking about it. Instead we will hear their insipit stories of what is going on in Hollywood, or on sports, or with missing women that are basically their clones. My husband ClintMax turns on that stupid CNN headline news every morning and I just want to reach through the screen and slap those chuckling, whoring toothy goofy shit-eating grins off their face and yell at them to find some real news.
