How do we punish our own?

This post stems from the Alito stuff, but it's not really an Alito thread, more of a general question. We know that Byrd, Nelson and a couple of other DINOs voted to confirm Alito this a.m. We know that Lieberman and others are enthusiastic supporters of anything that results in more dead arabs. We know that certain "Democrats" might as well be Republicans for the way that they vote.

But don't the DLC and the DNC give out money to any Democrat they think has a chance of winning? Seriously, could a Republican Senator in place of Joe Lieberman really do us any more damage? Wouldn't we get the same votes?

There has to be a way to withold funds from the Republicans who masquerade as Democrats...

People are always talking about how Hillary or Kerry or Kennedy or (fill in the blank) is 'feeling pressure' from the 'left wing'.

Well, how do we apply that pressure?

Cause I got about four folks in mind for it....

6. Find and support real progressives. When the DLC calls tell them

you are supporting real Democrats. My pick is David Van OS for TX Attorney General. <http://www.vanosfortexasag.com> He has been fighting for the working people all his career. He does not owe a penny to the Corporate power structure and that is why he scares the shit out of king maker want to bes.

The DLC wing of the Republican party wans to starve all the real progressives of funds. They decide which races are "Worth" running and "Winnable". As a result we end up with loosing races for a few "Battle ground States" and he GOP cruises to another win in most their safe seats. WTF is going on when the most powerful job in Texas statewide elected office is not Worth fighting for?

The DCCC (with their DEEP POCKETS) has interfered with (destroyed)the 'PRIMARY"campaigns of local GrassRoots spawned Progressive candidates.
