4. I watched a documentary on the History Ch. about Lincoln
and, of course the Civil War. Gore was one of the commentators and the topic of the current "War on Terror" came up. He said (paraphrase) The war on terror isn't a war. "The War on Terror" is a metaphor; it's meaningless--like the "War on Dandruff."

He's correct of course. I just wish more people understood this.
