Congressional Dems are scared of Bush
Edited on Mon Jan-30-06 08:31 PM by ECH1969
You can see it clear as day when they are doing interviews. They are afraid of going up against Bush, which is why they couldn't get the backbone to really try to stop Alito. Its why they have backed off on the NSA wiretapping. It is also way Bush is going to get a resolution to use force against Iran passed by Congress in the next couple months as well as the Patriot Act renewed.

Congressional dems seem to be split into three camps. One that rolls over for Bush, one that bends over for him, and one that acutally fights.

They'll tell us that he's the worst thing ever, but truly are in love with the man.

even with his lousy approval rating, we can now expect the spying scandal, the abramoff scandal, the iran resoultion, the budget, and the patriot act to go his way. TIme to start looking for a place in Europe.

8. Congressional REPUBLICANS are the ones scared of Bush
dems are going to tap into the huge disapproval of Bush, and use him as a cudgel against the GOP!

They're running this great new ad tomorrow on Fox:

11. Yep. The GOP are scared to death of this idiot.
But they will be bitten for this support. Women voters especially will show their disapproval. Not only did he appoint Judges who wish to deny women's rights, but W also is cutting social programs to our most needy.

12. No, they're afraid of their own shadow!!!!
I posted something like this on another thread, but we were at level 5 so I can't find it now, but....

I'm a female, grew up in a suburban town north of Pgh. Pa. and was really a naive idiot when I entered the business world, but EVEN I learned to fight back when you're right!

There's NOTHING wrong with using the word LIER, and CROOK, when it's the truth!!!!!

I can't imagine where our Dems grew up, or how they got to the US Senate without learning some street smarts!

All I can remember of their actions from the last year are appologies!

Damn it, if you're right, say what you mean, and don't back off!

I have the political experience of my dog, but I could knock any of these guys out with words on the Senate floor!!!

For God sake, Dean should haul them all in for training classes!!!!

18. I agree! I think that's why he got so much support from many on DU
when he was running in Ohio! The scary thing is, will he know how to deal with what his Pub opponent is going to try to do to him in a Senatorial election? Remember what they did to Dean and Kerry!!!!!

19. I see I am not the only one who was thinking anthrax. If the dems
had any spine at all the would be screaming at the Bu$h administration every single day. Why has Osama not been caught like you promised? Where is the anthrax killer whose trail stops at a military base? What do you say little Mr. Commander in Thief? But no the Dems want to be Repuke lite so bad they cannot hound him about anything. They are almost as disgraceful as he is.
Peace
