Bush asserts presidential prerogatives on inquiries into Hurricane Katrina
Bush Reasserts Presidential Prerogatives Eavesdropping, Katrina Probe Cited as Concerns.

Bush told reporters he is skeptical of a proposed law imposing new oversights on his use of the National Security Agency to listen in on electronic communications.

He also said that he will block White House aides from testifying about the slow federal response to Hurricane Katrina, and that he will not release official White House photos of himself with former Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

3. Whenever the WH refuses to provide papers, photos, or testimony

about any matter of substance, the Democrats should frame any discussion about it with the word 'coverup'

4. Bingo
Spinzonner hit the nail on the head. It's not presidential perogative or privilege, it's a coverup of corruption, neglect, and incompetence. Why can't our Dem elected officials/talking heads distill it down to that simple point?

I hope Dean comes to this conclusion and starts dropping the "coverup" word . . .
