Judge Reggie Walton, Scooter Libby and Sibel Edmonds
Sibel Edmonds is proof that the “War on Terror” is a Lie
By W. David Jenkins III

There are simply too many dots! I’m not kidding around here. I’ve been through a carton of marking pens and a case and a half of extra strength Excedrin following the trail from the Sibel Edmonds case to Plame to Libby to the NSA to the Whistleblowers Coalition to Turkey to Hastert to Abramoff to the White House and back again. This is not an exercise equivalent to playing “six degrees of Kevin Bacon” but a monstrous series of lines and dots that would produce a flow chart bigger than Rush Limbaugh’s mouth.

Speaking of Limbaugh, his recent slam of Ms. Edmonds and fellow whistleblower, Russell Tice, prompted me to congratulate Sibel the last time we talked. “They must be worried if they’re calling out the right wing radio mouths,” I told her. However, Rove and Co. may want folks like Rush to shut up about Edmonds because the more people hear about her case, the more trouble it invites for this most corrupt administration. Besides, they’ve spent the last few years imposing gag orders on Edmonds out of fear of what she knows.

And now, true to their sleazy ways of doing “business as usual” as Edmonds calls it, the Bush Cabal is going to add insult to Edmonds ’ injury. They’re going to poke her in the eye with “Scooter” Libby’s get of jail free card. Allow me to introduce, as well as concentrate on, Judge Reggie Walton.

You must read the whole article!

1. Interesting note here is how Limbaugh is now going after Edmonds...

As some note that goes against the previous strategy that a lot of the wingnutsphere was trying to employ, which was to try and marginalize her to the maximum and make sure they would not say anything about her anywhere. If the right wing starts mentioning her story too, unless they can really make a bad story "stick" will work more against them if more people are alerted to her story and look to find more legitimate information on her instead of their rants.

Limbaugh and other wingnut personalities mentioning her might be a sign that her story (as well as Russ Tice's and other important whistleblower's stories) are starting to get heard by the wider audience that it should, and might be a sign that we're starting to win the war of trying to get her noticed!

Chris Deliso had a good article on Walton too. Gotta hunt that one down and put a link here. And it's not just Walton as I recall. There are like a couple of other judges that are being used to farm out the cases that they want in their pocket too, like Colleen Kollar-Kelly, who has presided over the FISA court (and was the only one notified of the government eavesdropping program). Kollar-Kelly is also known for having dropped the Microsoft anti-trust case on a Friday the weekend before the midterm elections in 2002, which was very convenient for politicians that wanted to use it in stump speeches over the weekend to explain to voters how Bushco and company were getting rid of "obstacles" for great companies like Microsoft, but inconvenient for those politicians that had no time to have a good response to point to that this decision was poor for ensuring a competitive tech market, when trying to make the case against Republicans that weekend.

Also note that there's a good editorial today that talks more about how Bush is trying to circumvent FISA, Tice's case and how he's getting railroaded like Sibel has been:
