Lieberman to run in November even if defeated in Democratic primary!
It is the last paragraph in the article:

Lieberman acknowledged to a newspaper reporter this month that he will be on the ballot in November, no matter what the Democrats do. Lieberman will not be bound by the decision of Democratic primary voters if he loses. To threaten to run as an independent is an extraordinary admission that trouble approaches. Lieberman will get no help from state Republicans. They are wooing a Greenwich millionaire of their own to run.

2. Prick. That's a nice little threat.
Get behind me or I'll spoil the election to the Republicans.

Bastard. Guess we know where he's getting his campaign funds.

3. A fool and his office are soon parted
Lieberman is giving the go ahead to actually run a Democrat in Conn. A state we're bound to keep.

6. This is why I don't like Lieberman being challenged
If the Repukes get a candidate that can spend their own money and deliver a moderate message, they could win the seat if the Democrats nominate someone else and Lieberman runs as independent. With this election and so much on the line it is not good to go after other Democrats, no matter how angry they make us. Remember, Lieberman even though he doesn't always do what we like, will still vote for Reid as majority leader, if a Repuke is elected then that is one extra vote for Mitch McConnell.

9. Is he saying he's already got the GOP nomination locked up?
I hope Lieberman thinks long and hard about this (for a change) before throwing his seat to the Republicans should he lose in the primary. That would be the very definition of a sore loser.

The simpering little enabler is showing some chutzpah for a change. Too bad he didn't do thaht in 2000 or any time thereafter. Maybe God told him not to.

I think it's in the Dems long-term interest if he loses in either election- Make an example out of him, so that other Dems will think twice about legitimizing Republicans and voting for their policies.

<on edit- he did do something like that in 2000- when he ran for both his Senate seat AND Vice President>
