Here's what you, and the DNC can do: Make EVERY ISSUE in this election fall under the scope of "national security."

For example:

"9/11 Changed everything!"
Response: Yeah, we SO DID KATRINA!!! You guys cut funding for the levees, and you did a heckuva job with Brownie. FEMA is putting our security at risk with its piss poor management. We need to protect our cities from terrorism AND natural disasters, and you folks failed miserably on hurrricanes.

Also:

-Portray the GOP budget that cut assistance to the poor while giving tax cuts to Paris Hilton as against our economic SECURITY!

-Portrary GOP energy policies and lack of alternative energy policy as endangering our security.

I wan't bushco unmasked, exposed to the point of being undeniably the criminal cancer it is. I want the bullshit exposed, and I want America to reject it. I think that might happen in 06. I like your idea as an addition to making national security an issue - making every issue a national security issue is a great idea. But I want national security an issue as well. We shouldn't run from that fight.

"If Bush is so worried about terrorism and national security, why is he appointing incompetent cronies to the Department of Homeland Security so the Department will become so inept it's incapable of preventing terrorist attacks? Why is Bush pre-planning a Katrina-style terror attack response?"

I'd also point out the links between current DHS head Chertoff and terrorists, then point out Bush's connections to Bin Laden himself. I mean, REALLY, if they're worried about terrorists, why is Bush inviting Norquist's indicted terrorist budies to the White House?
