NYT aids RNC in fighting against Bush Wiretap Special Prosecutor
Here is proof that the RNC still has Media Whores at the NYT. Check out this story which at first glance appears to be more Clinton bashing, possibly payback for Hillary's remark about plantation. Read it and you will see that what it really talks about is the excesses of one of the worst so called Independent Counsels of the Melon-Scaiffe Dependent Counsels Era of the 1990s.

Now, the source of this story (clearly allied with the WH) could be hoping that morons will agree with its two mutuallu exclusive premises, 1. the Clintons were the most corrupt administration ever and 2. alll independent counsels and special prosecutors are worthless.

However, I think this one is directed at DEMOCRATS and INDEPENDENTS. We are supposed to get all fired up in support of the Clintons and mad at the independent counsels who hounded them and say to ourselves "Never again!"

Which brings me to Al Gore and his speech on Monday in which he called for a Special Prosecutor, just like dear old Fitz, to take over the Bush Wiretapped Scandal. I will not repeat his excellent case. We all know it.

Here is the NYT story. The paper here in Fort Worth printed it as a headline on the front page where it could do the administration the most good. Shameless.
