What insightful opinion might Laura offer the world today?
Oh boy I just can't wait to hear what informed and well thought out opinion she has ready to impart to the world on this day.

We know that she thinks that Condi would make a great Presidential candidate or maybe it was a great President oh well no matter Condi...great that's all I need to know

Laura also let us know that she disagrees with former First Lady, now government employee, Hillary Clinton's assessment that the US government is being run like a plantation.

Gosh what could it be today?

US monetary policy?
the looming 401K problem?
Should Kelly Clarkson allow American Idol contestants to sing her hits?
How to end starvation?
Oh what could it be? I just can't wait can you?

Bush: Girls have a choice even if they are "obligated to comply"

"Speaking to reporters at the start of a four-day trip to Liberia, Ghana and Nigeria, Bush said, "I'm always a little bit irritated when I hear the criticism of abstinence, because abstinence is absolutely 100% effective in eradicating a sexually transmitted disease" (Wilson, Reuters AlertNet, 1/15). She added, "In many countries where girls feel obligated to comply with the wishes of men, girls need to know that abstinence is a choice" (Sammon, Washington Times, 1/16)."

I will repeat; Laura Bush, speaking about girls in certain developing countries, "where girls feel obligated to comply with the wishes of men, girls need to know that abstinence is a choice"

Yes, the choice is, have sex with this man, or get the sh&^%$t beat out of me, or get a stoning in the public square!!!

Silly girls, just listen to the learned librarian, and you'll go far!!!

16. Just say no?
I dont think she's a real librarian either. Does she have an M.L.S. (Master's of Library Science)? "Enquiring" minds want to know.

22. I think she did indeed get a master's degree in library science.
However, I've also read that she got out of librarianship and teaching immediately and never went back after she married George W. Bush. The first thing she did as a married woman was help in his first campaign.

That all puts the lie to the oft-repeated tale that Laura Bush is just an apolitical darling who is totally dedicated to education and librarianship.

Girls and I mean REALLY young ones have a choice in Tyland... They can always decide to just let it be rape instead of consensual sex... that should keep them from getting diseases or pregnant... These 9 year old girls of South East Asia need to get their act together like Laura.

10. If I could ask the real Laura one thing, it would be: "How do you
justify the money and time spent on the lavish and extravagant White House Christmas decorations, when there were thousands upon thousands of people at Christmas from New Orleans who (1) still did not know where their children were, (2) have dead relatives unidentified, (3) are still displaced, or (3) had to set up plastic trees on top of the rubble that used to be their home.

12. House of Representatives
How in the world does Laura Bush know what being in the House of Representatives is like? She does not work there so she cannot possibilly know what it is like to work there. I would rather listen to Hillary Clinton's opinion on what it is like to work in the House considering Hillary work in the Senate which works with the House. It seems to me that Mrs. Bush just gives here opinion on which flowers should be put out on a daily occasion or for a particular dinner party. The previous sentence is not meant to completely insult the job of the first lady. It is meant to show the difference in each ladies position to know what is going on in the House of Representatives.
