Glen Beck on CNN?
Here are some of his famous quotes. Great job CNN!!

:sarcasm:

* On families of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks: "his is horrible to say, and I wonder if I'm alone in this -- you know, it took me about a year to start hating the 9-11 victims' families? Took me about a year."

* On Hurricane Katrina survivors who remained in New Orleans: "And that's all we're hearing about, are the people in New Orleans. Those are the only ones that we're seeing on television are the scumbags -- and again, it's not all the people in New Orleans. Most of the people in New Orleans got out! It's just a small percentage of those who were left in New Orleans, or who decided to stay in New Orleans, and they're getting all the attention."

* Discussing disclosures from a caller who claimed to have tortured prisoners in U.S. custody: "I've got to tell you, I appreciate your service. ... Good for you. Good for -- I mean, good for you. Is it because you did it for the country? ... I have to tell you, when all is said and done, I'm glad people like you are on our side."

* On filmmaker Michael Moore: "Hang on, let me just tell you what I'm thinking. I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out -- is this wrong?"

* On the father of Nick Berg, American civilian executed in Iraq: "The want to be a better person today than I was yesterday says he's a dad, he's grieving, but I don't buy that. I'm sorry, I don't buy it. I think he is grieving, but I think he's a scumbag as well. I don't like this guy at all."

3. Glenn Beck was the force behind the Terry Schiavo hoax
getting national attention. Beck told dozens of lies about the case. Beck knew they were lies too, because he admitted on his show that in a former talk show spot five years earlier he argued the case from Michael Schiavo's side.

Anyway, Beck made Terry Schiavo the leading topic on his talk show for months. When the story built, Beck had the nerve to take up a collection for an offer to Michael Schiavo. Beck promised $6 million to Michael if Michael would sign over custody of Terry. Sick! Michael didn't take the money, and that shows more than anything who had genuine concern about Terry and who was a scumbag out to make a buck off the tragedy.

Beck should have been sued for every dollar he ever made for what he did to Michael Schiavo.

6. My e-mail to CNN
Here's the e-mail I just sent to CNN. It is beyond belief that they would put this guy on the air. Glenn Beck is truly the poster boy for what is wrong with America!

I urge everyone to let CNN know how they feel about this decision.

Why is CNN giving a media platform to professional hatemonger Glenn Beck?

Has anyone at CNN seen the film "Hotel Rwanda"? Glenn Beck is little better than the Rwandan radio announcers who urged their fellow Hutus to go out and kill Tutsis.

I do not mean this figuratively-- I mean this literally. Here is just one of the more famous examples, from the May 17, 2004 broadcast of The Glenn Beck Program:

BECK: Hang on, let me just tell you what I'm thinking. I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out -- is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus -- band -- Do, and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, "Yeah, I'd kill Michael Moore," and then I'd see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I'd realize, "Oh, you wouldn't kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn't choke him to death." And you know, well, I'm not sure.

I guarantee there will be boycotts against advertisers on this show, and that the decision to give Glenn Beck a place on CNN will give CNN's journalistic reputation a serious black eye.

PLEASE reconsider this decision.

9. I just e-mailed CNN the following (using your quotes).. :)
I can't believe you're hiring Glenn Beck.

Bill Bennett makes racist comments talking about killing black babies and associating that with a drop in crime rate and you hire him.

Glenn Beck makes comments such as...

*On families of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks: "his is horrible to say, and I wonder if I'm alone in this -- you know, it took me about a year to start hating the 9-11 victims' families? Took me about a year."

It's just a small percentage of those who were left in New Orleans, or who decided to stay in New Orleans, and they're getting all the attention."

*Discussing disclosures from a caller who claimed to have tortured prisoners in U.S. custody: "I've got to tell you, I appreciate your service. ... Good for you. Good for -- I mean, good for you. Is it because you did it for the country? ... I have to tell you, when all is said and done, I'm glad people like you are on our side."

*On filmmaker Michael Moore: "Hang on, let me just tell you what I'm thinking. I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out -- is this wrong?"

*On the father of Nick Berg, American civilian executed in Iraq: "The want to be a better person today than I was yesterday says he's a dad, he's grieving, but I don't buy that. I'm sorry, I don't buy it. I think he is grieving, but I think he's a scumbag as well. I don't like this guy at all."

Why not just hire Ann Coulter and give her a show.

The last time I checked, CNN was not supposed to be a bastion of right wing hate speech.

I think you should give Coulter a show and while you're add it, add the 700 Club, a show titled "KKK Today", and maybe put out instructional shows on how to kill liberals.

Your founder Ted Turner would be disgusted with your new approach.

What people are going to learnm especially Fox News, is that defending this criminal administration and putting on the insane talking heads is going to backfire when in the next four years the political spectrum swings back left and America watches these people put where they belong... in prison cells.

Then how will your ratings be? You'll be behind the curve again because you chose to try to copy the formula of a fake news channel.
