Did I miss something... It's been a month since the Iraqi elections
Have they been able to form a government yet....

Have they even counted all the votes....

Did I miss something....

They promised the voting would be done and that a new government would be in place within a month...

Did I miss something...

1. They're still 'counting' the votes. Absurd, isn't it. nt

2. It takes full-time electricity to run the Diebold machines.
And, of course, it takes weeks to incorrectly enter all those paper ballots into the Diebold machines so the "pre-fixed" count matches up.

5. The * administration did not get the kind of results it wanted.
So there seems to be a delay until votes for what it did want appear. Kind of like in Ohio, Florida, etc.

7. No news is good news. The whole thing will disappear
and will never be mentioned again.

9. "The schools are open"
And electricity is on about half the day.

11. I love the spin on that article. We only lost 1% of the votes
So it cannot have any effect on the overall vote.

And there were less irregularities than in the Jan. 30 election, so that's a good sign as well, right? The votes must be valid now... :sarcasm:

13. Isn't that a hoot?
You'll also notice the peculiar inference that a ballot box in populous Baghdad is equal to a ballot box in a tiny hamlet somewhere...

12. They're spinnin brodies
in the mall parking lot while blaring Paula Abdul and all sorts of other fun things they couldn't do when Saddam was in power.
