Hard for me to get excited about Abramoff
squealing on everybody, when Alberto Gonzalez's Justice Department is running the case and Alice Fisher was a recess Bushy appointment.

1. Yeah, I was wondering if he's made a deal
to give them a few names of expendable people whom PNAC wants to cut loose anyway. With * telling him "Don't worry, you won't do much time and it's a country club for goodness sake". They have a bank account for Abramoff set up some place to wire a payoff to for doing some dirty work for them. So all this, plus the naming of accomplices, is choreographed by PNAC.

Just a theory. Maybe my tinfoil hat's on too tight this morning.

3. Alberto likely must recuse
He was WH counsel at the time a lot of that shit went down. He does not have clean hands. There is a clear conflict of interest.

Remember, it is Jim Comey (the Justice Department deputy that Monkey derisively calls "Cuomo" for his refusal to sign off on the wiretapping business, and the guy who APPOINTED FITZ) who thus far appears to be the patriot in the Justice Department. I think they'll have to find a way to get him out of the picture, and that will be hard to do....
