Hi, friends,
I am working on this petition for my Senator and would like your opinions.
If you are from PA and would like to sign it, feel free to drop me a line and I shall let you know when it is up on my website...
Also, should you feel that the completed version would benefit your state, please feel free to edit out the Senator and replace with yours...
Thanks!

Dear Mr. Santorum
As your constituent, you are accountable to me as well as the rest of the people of the state of Pennsylvania in spite of the trend of late, which seems to have placed a barrier between our representative government and the people it is sworn to serve.
As you are here to serve the likes of me and not the other way around, I am compelled to step up the application of my civic duty in reference to the depth of corruption that has plagued my government. And so, I am formally demanding a written statement from you that outlines the depth and financial scope of your relationship with Mr. Abramoff as it pertains to your
office, your campaign, and all matters specific to said relationship and its influence on your sworn duties.
Corruption is a serious matter, Mr. Santorum. Further, I am suspicious of your integrity as a direct result of your delusional public statements, which rub against the grain of the Constitution you are sworn to uphold.
As you pontificate your supposed "morality" (see quote) using offices and venues that I, along with my fellow taxpayers have paid for, I feel that you must be reminded of your most primary duties as a Senator, and specifically, your duty to comply with the law.
And so, Mr. Santorum, I shall expect no less than a written reply at your earliest convenience. Additionally, I am filing a Freedom Of Information Act request for all pertinent documents pertaining to this matter and have contacted several other government offices for assistance.
It is time for we, the subjects and carriers of the burden for such nonsensical greed, to rise above this current cancer on our institution. Rest assured, sir, we shall succeed in uncovering any and all misdeeds under the thick mantle of government power. Should you be free of this corruption, you need not worry; however, it is your duty to take immediate steps to ensure us of your integrity. The alternative would only serve to reinforce my suspicions.
In closing, I remind you of these words:
“The corruption of realism or idealism can be called moralism-the most popular rival and impostor of genuine morality. Morality and ethics (the Greek derivative with the same meaning) has to do with right or wrong behavior in all spheres. It is a discipline of ends and means. However, primitive or sophisticated, all moral systems define normative ends and acceptable rules for achieving them. Moralism, on the other hand, is a sham, morality, a partial ethic.”
(Lefever, Ernest W. Ethics And World Politics: Four Perspectives; (Page 5: Paragraph 2; ) Johns Hopkins University Press, Baltimore, MD; 1972. )
I look forward to your prompt reply.
Sincerely,
