saying the Dems would look weak unless we supported Bush and his NSA doings...his name was Dan something.

Who was it?

Did not get exact words, but I sure got the gist of it. I am concerned because I never saw him before and he did not look familiar at all.

1. "You better cave in to the opposition, or you'll look weak"

Does anyone else see the silliness of that statement?

5. I'm a centrist
and supporting Bush is the dumbest thing Democrats could do. It would also be the most dangerous, especially in this context.

11. I honestly believe
that the term "centrist" has now been skewed in the same way that "liberal" has.

Relabeling is popular these days. War=Peace, etc.

I used to be a left leaning centrist. Now I'm a radical extremist on the left. Have I moved that much? No.

I've run into some calling themselves "centrists" that sound like what I used to think of as republicans. They're getting the airtime, and redefining the terms.

6. Maybe Newshounds will know. They watch FOX so we don't have to.
I just happened on that segment, and he looked so smug and superior and clueless I just had to listen a minute. I just caught the name Dan.

I wish I had not just caught such a short segment, but I was channel surfing. Wonder how much of this "centrist" stuff they do? Maybe we should pay more attention.

12. Faux News often has obscure "centrist" Dem Zell Miller wannabes
to rubber-stamp their agenda. Don't know where they dig up these pariahs. They are intended to persuade the sheep that good Dems go along with their BS and those that don't are radical nutjobs. It's all perspective, phony as a 3-dollar bill.
