Nora O'Donnell on Hardball- It's watchable for once
e-mail them and tell em she's a better sub than Andrea the Wicked Witch of the north. Maybe she'll get her own show. I've grown to hate Matthews- how did I like him way back when?

1. I strongly disagree. She's fair tonight, but her
eyes light up when she mentions dimson's name. She's a partisan repug imo, and has proved it time and again.
Maybe she's heard previous criticisms and is toning it down.

7. Not only do her eyes light up when she says Bush's name
she does this little "smile" thing. She's a whore for BushCo for sure. I'm surprised she hasn't gone to work for Fox yet.

3. Nora is one of the biggest Bush media whores around
but even she has to do an occassional fair show once in a while.

4. yeah, she's a Tweety clone
Although I loved the first segment. She proffered all the GOP talking points which were summarily bitchslapped down. Sweet.

5. I thought tonight's show needed a laughtrack
I can't believe some of the shit coming out of the mouths of Nora and the war whores! That show was un-frickin'-believable! They should be banned from using the name "Hardball." It is false advertising.

13. Yet, the two guest did a good job of presenting the case
against Bush. Nora interrupted and argued and wound up looking like a partisan idiot. On balance, the good guys won the show.

10. They were trotting out one of the most disgusting lines I keep hearing
One of her two talking heads, not the WSJ guy but the other guy said, (paraphrase) "Most Americans care about Bush keeping us safe and it's just a few "intellectuals" that care about civil liberties"?!!

I guess only pointy headed intellectuals care about civil liberties. Nora cited some poll that seemed to say 31 % of Americans thought it was ok for Bush to do whatever he needed to and 69% of us had a problem with it. Here is that same 30% figure that comes up over and over and over.30% of this country is Bush's hardcore base. 30% of the American public is invincibly ignorant, gullible, complacent, complicit, bovine, naive, I can't really pick a really defining adjective. Good news and bad news. 3 tightly organized pitbulls win over 6 unherdable housecats everytime.

16. Seriously, do they get the talking points faxed to them?
Because, Katie Couric used that same line the day after the story broke.

14. I agree. Mitchell and Matthews have lost their way.
They've been there so long, and they're so desperate to stay on the TV, that they have no morals. They don't believe in anything. They'll do or say whatever seems to fit for that moment, without regard to truth.

Mitchell and Tweety have gotten so they cannot have a hard hitting interview with any Bush spokesperson. They're too busy kissing ass.

Boot both them.

The NBC team should be David Gregory, David Schuster, and Nora O'Donnell.

15. I couldn't stand hardball today
NOra just keeps repeating the bushco lines over and over

guy from SLATE referred to Bush spying...."so what if he bends the rules"

uh..excuse me...asshole that was breaking the law...not bending the rules....

that kind of twisting of semantics is what they want the public to hear to confuse them and marginalize the issue...
