During bu$h´s Dec. 18th (Sunday night) speech, he quoted a line from a xmas song by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow that was written during the Civil War and probably inspired by the serious injury his son suffered during a battle.
Given that bu$h started the war in Iraq, I think another verse from Longfellow´s
Christmas Bells is more appropriate.
Here´s the verse that bu$h quoted:
"God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!"Here´s the preceding verse:
And in despair I bowed my head;
