1. I Should Say NOT! Look At How Many Are Below 50%!
That's a huge majority of the population, right there.

4. I guess..
RI and MA balance out ID and UA.

Bush is even down in Texas, but not by much.

I suspect that Texas is not going Dem but just showing
some disappointment in Bush.

5. What's up with
Louisiana and Mississippi? Texas has lower approval numbers then they....I would have thought that the Katrina foul up would have really pushed those numbers down. BTW, my mother-in-law from Metairie just left yesterday and she says things are still bbbaaddd down there and there seems to be no merging light at the end of the tunnel...x(

6. look at the states
that have favorable ratings for Bush.

Utah
Idaho
Wymoing
Nebraska
Montana
Alaska
and alabama

with the exception of alabama (that isnt a very big exception), how important are these little populated states?

this is nothing for the repukes to be proud of.

10. Unfortunately,
they are important enough to each have two US senators - pretty much mucking up that body of the government (from a democrats perspective, anyway).

23. Take A Harder Look At Alabama
Just look at these numbers. By this poll, AL is divided into 36% Republican, 35% Democrat, and 28% Independent. The Democrats and Independent disaprove by a much bigger margin than the Republicans approve. Kindergarten math tells you that there are more Democrats and Independents combined in this state than there are Republicans. When 2/3 groups disaprove by wide margins, how does that come out to a +11 approval? Bottom line is that SurveyUSA fuc*ked up the final tally. In other words, Alabama does not approve of Bush!

Check it out, the numbers don't add up. And plus, Bush had a -3 in Alabama in last month's SurveyUSA poll. So, please take us out of the list with those other states! LOL

13. Benito Busholini Only "Leads" In 6 States, w/ 1 Tie
So much for his Iraq Election bump.

Can't figure why there even was an Iraq Election bump. Did Americans really want pro-Iranian Islamic Fundamentalists to take control of Iraq?

17. Too bad we don't get to run against Bush in '08
I only hope it will help in 2006. And doesn't backwash two years later.

Democrats got a lot of work to do to turn this into something significant.

18. "Michigan, My Michigan"
My wonderful Michigan--35% approval, 62% disapproval, down 27% from the last poll. What is really exciting--and, oddly enough, contradicts what "D"LC, Inc. tells us--is that the numbers for "moderates" are just as horrible as for "liberals"; almost as if, they are like us, not like conservatives: 26% approval-71% disapproval "moderates"; 16% approval-83% disapproval "liberals." Bye-Bye, neo-cons!

22. In Line With This Poll From ARG

George W. Bush's overall job approval ratings have failed to rebound as Americans report dramatic improvements in how they view the national economy according to the latest survey from the American Research Group. Among all Americans, 40% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 56% disapprove. When it comes to Bush's handling of the economy, 36% approve and 59% disapprove.

Among Americans registered to vote, 41% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 56% disapprove. When it comes to the way Bush is handling the economy, 37% of registered voters approve of the way Bush is handling the economy and 59% disapprove.

A total of 30% of Americans say the national economy is getting better, which is up from 13% in November and 40% say the national economy is getting worse, which is down from 50% in November. When asked about the national economy a year from now, 28% say it will be better, which is up from 17% in November, and 39% say it will be worse, which is down from 61% in November. Americans are unchanged about their personal financial situations when compared to November.

24. How is that a job approval rating?
What would Kerry have to do with a poll on Bush approval ratings?

Was the question "do you approve of the job the president is doing?"

Or, "who do you like better?" Or..?
